John A. Cadena, Manager of Economic Development and Local Affairs for Dominion Energy, has been elected to the Board of Directors of Certified Development Corporation (CDC) of South Carolina.
Cadena leads a team responsible for economic development and local government activities in the northern section of Dominion Energy South Carolina. He has more than 30 years of industry experience and has helped companies such as Nephron Pharmaceuticals, Mark Anthony Brewing, Jushi, and Bridgestone expand or locate in the Palmetto State.
Cadena is a graduate of Clemson University, as well as economic development programs at the University of Oklahoma and University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and the South Carolina Economic Development Institute.
He also is a graduate of Leadership Beaufort and Leadership Columbia and currently serves on the Executive Committee and Board of Directors of both the South Carolina I-77 Alliance and the Greater Columbia Chamber of Commerce.
