Business Development Corporation (BDC) has been recognized by the U.S. Small Business Administration as the leading provider of SBA 504 loans in South Carolina for 2020.
The Columbia-based non-bank lender’s associate company, Certified Development Corporation of South Carolina (CDC), received awards as the top lender for the year in both dollar volume and number of loans approved in the Palmetto State through the SBA 504 program, which provides guaranteed long-term, fixed-rate financing for small businesses in need of expansion and/or purchases.
In 2020, BDC worked with partner financial institutions to make loans to a wide range of businesses, including manufacturers, retailers, service providers, and other enterprises.
