Anna T. Locke, CPA has been named to the Board of Directors of Certified Development Corporation of SC (CDC).

CDC was created in 1994 to arrange government-guaranteed financing for qualified borrowers under the U.S. Small Business Administration’s SBA 504 lending program.

Locke is the founder and President of A.T. LOCKE PC. A Clemson University graduate, she and her firm of experienced business professionals and CPA’s provide accounting management services to companies and not-for-profit organizations. Anna is also an active contributor to her community through service in volunteer roles for local outreach and education focused organizations.

“I’ve opened my own small businesses and worked with many others, and I’m excited to share my experience and help others succeed through CDC and the innovative options the corporation offers to manufacturers, professionals of all types and many others looking for long term financing to purchase existing leased facilities or for expansion of existing real estate or relocation into new facilities.” Locke said.

“Ms. Locke is an experienced entrepreneur herself and as a CPA and experienced controller and auditor understands well the balance between risk and obligation that successfully managing an SBA 504 program entails. We’re lucky to have her on our board,” said Edwin O. Lesley, President and CEO of Business Development Corporation of SC (BDC) who by contract is responsible for the management of CDC.
